TRAPJAW BIOGRAPHY

• 1999/ 2000: Marek (Bass/ Vocals), Ingo Bisjanis (Guitar/ Vocals) found TRAPJAW. In May 2000 they are joined by drummer Majo (Michael Henicke).• First Gigs in Krefeld and Bielefeld with JORMUNDGARD and BATTALIA in October / November 2000. • 2001: The Band records a first demo in the hobbystudio Creakrecords, entitled "Tales from the Crypt" and earns positive feedback in online- fanzines and Legacy Mag. • 2001/02: A few Live- Gigs as guests. On summerrockfestival in Krefeld: Co- Headliner with JORMUNDGARD. • Vocalist and Guitarist Ingo leaves the Band. From then on Marek performs Guitars and Vocals. New Bass- player "Kozzy" Kossman joins the band.

• March 2003: The new Line- up records a new demo CD entitled "To die means to return". Reactions in online- zines and Mags like Legacy, Heavy or Terrorraiser are even better than before. The title- track appears in the local radio. The song "Blooddawn in Kadath" appears on the Metal- Gospel- sampler. • 2003: After a long interruption of live- gigs the line- up enters the stages again in Herford and Bielefeld. • M.Dahmen, founder of Worldsendstudio contacts the band. In the rest of the year 2003 TRAPJAW drive down to his studio regularly to prepare for first professional studio recordings in the future. • September 2003: Drummer Majo is not able to develop his abilities as quick and professional as the rest of the band and finally leaves TRAPJAW. • For the next recording Producer Dahmen performs the drums. • February 2004: TRAPJAW record their first Studio- CD "Devoured by the crawling chaos". The first pieces are mastered by Draconiz (Ex- SPECTRE DRAGON, GEIST, LOST WORLD ORDER) until TRAPJAW release a re- mastered version with the bonus song "World depraved" which is performed together with their new drummer Maxx and recorded in Soundforge Studio by Andreas Hilbert (GOLEM). • 2004: The Press in Germany and parts of Europe is highly impressed by the band's first studio- recording. Meanwhile they prepare performing enough new songs for a first full- lenght album. And they release a remix- Version of the previous Demo entitled "Re- Devoured by the crawling chaos". On Halloween 04 Maxx absolves his live- debut with TRAPJAW. The Gig becomes a remarkable event in the local scene.

• 2005: TRAPJAW enter the stages during the whole year. They play on several festivals in Germany and on a benefit- festival for the victims of the tsunami- desasters in South/ East- Asia. They record their first Full- lenght album "Virushuman" in westwood recording studios with Producer David Hambach and release it without any Label- support on October 10th. The Connection with Hambach came up via Ex- Deadly Sin- Singer Ross Thompson (Van Canto). The Album causes a lot of sympathy, not only among the local fan- scene. The Radioshow "Hard on air" presents the CD and interviews Guitarist/ Vocalist Marek . Enormous positive reviews appear in the Mags "Legacy", "Heavy", "Legion Magazine", "Carnage"- Fanzine and many online- fanzines. First Distributions and Consulting Agencies get in contact with TRAPJAW. • April 2006: First short Mini- tour in the second half of April. • 6.6.06: TRAPJAW offer the live- Bootleg CD “Live Infection” which concludes a rough- mixed record of their gig in Hameln, from the Spring Infection Mini- Tour 2006.

• End 06-2007: Each Member struggles with individual Crisis at different times. The constant Obligations which include Band, Relations, Jobs and other things cause unbalanced relations of motivation among the Band members. When Maxx calls in for a personal break of unknown time to cure his mental and physical stability, Kozzy and Marek fill the time with constructing an own Studio to have future recordings in own hands. Replacement Drummer Daniel Rudka helps the Band for Gig- Propositions at this time and Marek helps the Band ADDICTED TO CARNAGE from Dortmund by playing session bass for their Gigs. But when the Numbers of TRAPJAW- Gigs rise again he decides to concentrate more on the own Band. Maxx finally finds new courage for life and returns highly motivated to TRAPJAW for gigs and all other plans. More Distributions from France and Germany get in Contact with the Band. • Sept.07: short Tour in western Germany and the first Gig on the Band’s home ground Bielefeld since 4 ½ years! • Oct./Nov.07: TRAPJAW use their self- constructed Studio to record 4 new Songs, which appear on the Promo- CD“Lurking in Exile Vol.2.1” and, among older Songs on the MC “Lurking in Exile Vol.2”, which is released by VENOMOUS Productions, who take care of manufacturing TRAPJAW T- Shirts and other Merchandise as well.

• Mar.-Nov.08: Although there appear a lot of live- Gigs, next to private obligations and the recording sessions of the next Album, TRAPJAW yet prove immense Motivation and will- power and master all challenges. Even when Kozzy is forced to pause for a couple of weeks, because of a bad accident, in which his left arm gets injured, the Band plays in replacement Bass- man Maik Siekmann and absolves a remarkable Gig as Headliner of the "Dark Scene playing"- Festival in Bielefeld's largest Disco/ Club Ringlokschuppen. • 05. Nov.08: Not only for the writers of US- history a remarkable date! On this Day TRAPJAW finish the records of their second Album TERROR DIVINE, which is planned to be released some when in the beginning of 2009, supported by a couple of Sponsors. Until then TRAPJAW promote their new stuff with the Promo- CD “Lurking in Exile Vol.3” which includes first versions of 4 Album Songs.

• 2009: TERROR DIVINE is finally released and celebrated on a TRAPJAW- Gig in the legendary Helvete- Club/ Oberhausen and on further several Gigs during the year, brilliant reviews, business as usual.

• Jan. 2010: AWAKE from the TERROR DIVINE- Album appears on the legendary European Underground Extreme Metal Front Sampler- Compilation Vol.3. After a remarkable gig in Marienfeld in Feb.10 TRAPJAW decide to interrupt all live- activities and to recover.

2011: A New Promo- CD GRAVE NEW WORLD is released and the new Song TSCHANDALA appears on the legendary European Underground Extreme Metal Front Sampler- Compilation Vol.4. As worthy closure of an exciting festival summer, including WACKEN, PARTY-SAN and other TRAPJAW are invited to support SUDDEN DEATH and CANNABIS CORPSE in their hometown. The Mini- Festival becomes a memorable event in the local Death Metal- Fanscene and is honoured in local newspapers.
