1999-2000: Marek (Bass/ Vocals), Ingo Bisjanis (Guitar/ Vocals) found TRAPJAW. In May 2000 they are joined by drummer Majo (Michael Henicke). First Gigs in Krefeld and Bielefeld with JORMUNDGARD and BATTALIA in October / November 2000.

2001-02: The Band records a first demo in the hobbystudio Creakrecords, entitled "Tales from the Crypt" and earns positive feedback in several online- fanzines and LEGACY Magazine. A few Live- Gigs as guests. On summerrockfestival in Krefeld: Co- Headliner with JORMUNDGARD. Vocalist and Guitarist Ingo leaves the Band. From then on Marek performs Guitars and Vocals. New Bass- player "Kozzy" Kossman joins the band.

2003: The new Line- up records a new demo CD entitled "To die means to return". Reactions in online- zines and Mags like Legacy, Heavy or Terrorraiser are even better than before. The title- track appears in the local radio. The song "Blooddawn in Kadath" appears on the Metal- Gospel- sampler. After a long interruption of live- gigs the line- up enters the stages again in Herford and Bielefeld. M.Dahmen, founder of Worldsendstudio contacts the band. In the rest of the year 2003 TRAPJAW drive down to his studio regularly to prepare for first professional studio recordings in the future. • September 2003: Drummer Majo is not able to develop his abilities as quick and professional as the rest of the band and finally leaves TRAPJAW. For the next recording Producer Dahmen performs the drums.

2004: TRAPJAW record their first Studio- CD "Devoured by the crawling chaos". The first Version is mastered by Draconiz aka KG Cypher (Ex- SPECTRE DRAGON, GEIST, LOST WORLD ORDER, VYRE) until TRAPJAW release a remastered version with the bonus song "World depraved" which is performed together with their new drummer Maxx and recorded in Soundforge Studio by Andreas Hilbert (GOLEM). The Press in Germany and occasionally Europe is highly impressed by the band's first studio- recording. Meanwhile TRAPJAW prepare performing enough new songs for a first full- lenght album. And they release a remix- Version of the previous Demo entitled "Re- Devoured by the crawling chaos". On Halloween 04 Maxx absolves his live- debut with TRAPJAW. The Gig becomes a remarkable event in the local scene.

2005: TRAPJAW enter the stages during the whole year. They play on several festivals in Germany and on a benefit- festival for the victims of the tsunami- desasters in South/ East- Asia. They record their first Full- lenght album 'VirusHuman' in westwood recording studios with Producer David Hambach and release it without any Label- support on October 10th. The Connection with Hambach came up via Ex- Deadly Sin- Singer Ross Thompson VAN CANTO). The Album causes a lot of sympathy, not only among the local fan- scene. The Radioshow "Hard on air" presents the CD and interviews Guitarist/ Vocalist Marek . Enormous positive reviews appear in the Mags "Legacy", "Heavy", "Legion Magazine", "Carnage"- Fanzine and many online- fanzines. First Distributions and Consulting Agencies get in contact with TRAPJAW.

April 2006: First short Mini- tour in the second half of April. 6.6.06: TRAPJAW offer the live- Bootleg CD 'Live Infection' which contains a rough- mixed record of their gig in Hameln, from the Spring Infection Mini- Tour 2006.

End 06-2007: Each Member struggles with individual Crisis at different times. The constant Obligations which include Band, Relations, Jobs and other things cause unbalanced relations of motivation among the Band members. When Maxx calls in for a personal break of unknown time, Kozzy and Marek fill the time with constructing an own Studio to have future recordings in own hands. Replacement Drummer Daniel Rudka helps the Band for Gig- Propositions at this time and Marek helps the Band ADDICTED TO CARNAGE from Dortmund by playing session bass for their Gigs. But when the Numbers of TRAPJAW- Gigs rise again he decides to concentrate more on the own Band. Maxx finally finds a new lease of life and returns highly motivated to TRAPJAW for gigs and all other plans. More Distributions from France and Germany get in Contact with the Band. Sept.07: short Tour in western Germany and the first Gig on the Band's home ground Bielefeld since 4 1/2 years! Oct./Nov.07: TRAPJAW use their self- constructed Studio to record 4 new Songs, which appear on the Promo- CD“Lurking in Exile Vol.2.1” and, among older Songs on the MC 'Lurking in Exile Vol.2', which is released by VENOMOUS Productions, who take care of manufacturing TRAPJAW T- Shirts and other Merchandise as well.

Mar.-Nov.08: Although there appear a lot of live- Gigs, next to private obligations and the recording sessions of the next Album, TRAPJAW yet prove immense Motivation and will- power and master all challenges. Even when Kozzy is forced to pause for a couple of weeks, because of a bad accident, in which his left arm gets injured (a tendon of his left forearm got completely cut through), the Band plays in replacement Bass- man Maik Siekmann and absolves a remarkable Gig as Headliner of the "Dark Scene playing"- Festival in Bielefeld's largest Disco/ Club RINGLOKSCHUPPEN. 05. Nov.08: Not only for the writers of US- history a remarkable date! On this Day TRAPJAW finish the records of their second Album 'Terror Divine', which is planned to be released some when in the beginning of 2009, supported by a couple of Sponsors. Until then TRAPJAW promote their new stuff with the Promo- CD 'Lurking in Exile Vol.3' which includes first versions of 4 Album Songs.

2009: 'Terror Divine' is finally released and celebrated on a TRAPJAW- Gig in the legendary HELVETE - Club/ Oberhausen and on further several Gigs during the year, brilliant reviews, business as usual.

Jan. 2010: AWAKE from the TERROR DIVINE- Album appears on the legendary European Underground Extreme Metal Front Sampler- Compilation Vol.3. After a remarkable gig in Marienfeld on Feb.10th TRAPJAW decide to interrupt all live- activities for a while and to recover.

2011: A New Promo- CD GRAVE NEW WORLD is released and the new Song TSCHANDALA appears on the legendary European Underground Extreme Metal Front Sampler- Compilation Vol.4. As worthy closure of an exciting festival summer, including WACKEN, PARTY-SAN and other TRAPJAW are invited to support SUDDEN DEATH and CANNABIS CORPSE in their hometown. The Mini- Festival becomes a memorable event in the local Death Metal- Fanscene and is honoured in local newspapers.

2012: Surprisingly TRAPJAW are invited to play at EMERGENZA FESTIVAL in front of a very large audience. Although numerous listeners at this show are not familiar with extreme Death / Thrash Metal, TRAPJAW's effort is immense valued. First time ever TRAPJAW perform the Song AWAKE in the alternative Radiomix-Version, which starts with clean Guitars and clean Vocals and prove they are able to do more than high-brutality metal music only. 23.02.2012: TRAPJAW's best-of Album 'Tschandala' is released and distributed in digital Version only by IMUSICIANDIGITAL.COM. Since Marek becomes Father in Spring 2012 the Band decides to pause for a couple of months before starting rehearsals again and prepare for next shows. But then Kozzy has a bad accident, in which his shoulder gets fractured. TRAPJAW decide to postpone nearly all activities, except one: TSCHANDALA is remastered and the new version appears on metal-sampler.de, released by the Metal Underground- Community UNDERGROUNDED.

2013- 2014: TRAPJAW headline a few and well- visited concerts in Bielefeld and their home- area and are interviewed by various German and Swedish Communities and Bloggers. Furthermore the band's live-performance is celebrated in various live-reviews. In May 2014 TRAPJAW sign a support-deal with UNDERGROUNDED. The Songs CULTURE OF PLASTIC SOULS and CIA appear on several UNDERGROUNDED - Compilations. Unfortunately bad luck strikes once again fatally. On their 15th Anniversary concert (08.11.14) of all concerts TRAPJAW aren't able to offer a live- performance because Guitarist/ Vocalist Marek suffers a myocarditis a couple of weeks before the event and is thereby forced to massively restrict all TRAPJAW- activities for a while. Nonetheless Marek moderates the event, which is organized together with HUMAN PARANOID and UNCOVER who also celebrate their 15th anniversary together with 15 related Bands, basically from East-Westphalia's Metal-Scene. Marek emphasizes the importance of the event and that it was meant to celebrate the whole underground Metal- Scene from East-Westphalia and the many musical talents, coming from there.

2015: Marek recovers much faster than expected. In December 2014 TRAPJAW are already back in the rehearsal Room and the next show is performed on 17th January 2015. TRAPJAW are invited to perform at much more events both in their home region and occasionally in south Germany but can't take the offers due to duties in private life. Anyway 2015 is the 10th anniversary year of their debut Album 'VirusHuman', which is planned to be celebrated by releasing a remastered Version of the Album's track CRUSH THE IDOLS OF IGNORANCE on the next UNDERGROUNDED - Sampler. Further the band brings out new T-shirts (in conventional black and baseball-design for the first time) and offers them among other merchandise Products for a competition run by HUMBLEMETAL.DE. In Spite of the fact that Kozzy suffers Problems with his forearm again, whose tendon was cut through a couple of years ago and Marek has to struggle with partly problems with his bronchia TRAPJAW yet perform a memorable nearly 1 1/2 hour concert on 18th sept.2015 in the famous Location DRUM HARD and set the dedicated non-casual Part of the local Metal scene absolutely on fire. Because of the tragic Events in Paris on 13th Nov 2015 TRAPJAW decide to add the unexpectedly appropriate instrumental Intro Song of the 'VirusHuman' Album to their live Performance at Emergenza Festival two weeks later. It's the Band's final Concert in 2015. They are confirmed to play at the 20th Issue of the legendary Concert Series LIVE UNDEAD (via a Fan-based Voting) and the GROUND FORCE II FESTIVAL in 2016. Guitarist / Vocalist Marek is furthermore interviewed by the well-known webzine ANTICHRIST MAGAZINE.

2016: LIVE UNDEAD 20 in Bielefeld and the two day long GROUND FORCE II become an indispensable Success for TRAPJAW, accompanied by an elaborate Video Production of GFII and an increasing Boost of Fan Reactions on the Band's social Network. Furthermore the Band becomes member of the TRIPLE B BOOKING Roster. On May 25th 2016 TRAPJAW's first official Video 8 NATIONS OF WHORES is launched on youtube. Recorded, edited and released by UNDERGROUNDED. In the first 5 days the video is viewed nearly 2000 times, which the Band perceives as unexpected but welcome Attention.

2017: Summer 2017 is supposed to become the Summer of Trapjaw! The Band signs with NECRO GENOCIDE RECORDS to release their third Album 'World of Jaws'. They absolutely rock the local Audience and tear the house down once again at a nearly sold out Event at DRUM HARD. Furthermore the Band performs two shows at this year’s open Air Metal Festival FEST EVIL Manrode!!!! After a final Concert on Oct.21st the band is forced to another long interruption of their live performance since new Bandmate on Rhythm Guitar Kain have to undergo an important surgical procedure and subsequent rehabilitation to prevent his upper abdomen from threatning damage.

2018: For the birthday party of a common friend TRAPJAW return on stage earlier than expected. After waiting in vain for more than half a year for Necro Genocide Records to release TRAPJAW's third album "World of Jaws," TRAPJAW decide to break their partnership with NGR. They decide to record 2 new important Songs for the upcoming Album and enter Hell's Kitchen Studio to record the drum tracks in June 2018. One of these 2 Songs is 'Kufr Pt.2 - No farewell to arms'. One of TRAPJAW's first Songs in which Lead-Guitarist Marek uses a 7-String fretless Guitar. A Song which has achieved nearly legendary Status, since a spontaneous fan-made Live Video which TRAPJAW have put on their YouTube Channel. Aug.2018: New Album Teaser Video 'Trapjaw - Journey into the unknown' is launched on TRAPJAW's YouTube Channel. The Video features the Album's Intro Song 'Kufr Pt.I - Journey into the unknown' and focuses on Frontman Marek's experiences with his customized 7-String fretless Guitar and what impact this unconventional Instrument has on the Band's Music. Nov.2018: Trapjaw's third Album WORLD OF JAWS is finally released on a great celebrated Release-Party in the Band's hometown on 24th Nov.2018. Another one is planned already at Metal-Inferno's 'Heavy New Year'-Party in Paderborn

2019: Trapjaw's second Release-Party at Metal-Inferno's 'Heavy New Year'-Event in Paderborn becomes a great success and is insanely celebrated by a vast and grateful audience.
